My Tribe

I am so grateful to be supported by these amazing people. Check them out and follow their stories. You can always count on motivation, dedication and real-life accounts of accomplishment from each one. They are an awesome crew.

The always inspiring Leanne Chisholm

Leanne is a dedicated marathon runner living in Toronto, Canada. She has run some challenging races and most recently completed the scenic but difficult Big Sur, California Marathon this past April. You can find Leanne upping her game with the Castle runners and raising funds to support JP’s Team – for survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Leanne has webpage and is on Instagram as @leannechiz.

The amazingly talented and hilarious Kristy Goss

Kristy is a yoga instructor, dirt-biker and runner out of Cambridge, Canada. She is currently on a 200+ day runstreak and is raising funds to support the rebuilding of Haven House – Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo. This spring she organized Reason 2 Run – a run event and auction which raised thousands of dollars but she’s not done yet! Kristy is also a super-healer and has overcome knee surgery in past year, running a half-marathon a few months into her recovery. She never ceases to amaze me! Donate to her charity, check out her website and follow her on Instagram @gosskristy.

My Uncle Carl Wright

My Uncle Carl is a 58 year-old running machine. He’s completed countless half marathons and marathons but most recently became an ultra-marathoner! He’s also a lay pastor and has a full-time job at a warehouse in Barrie, Canada. He’s a kind soul who has the running bug and loves to write about it. You can find him blogging at theoldfellowgoesrunning tweeting @canuckcarl or on facebook too.
